Use The Word To Change Lives - Apostle Owusu Achiaw

By Douglas Akwasi Owusu
The True Faith Church, Ghana, has held its annual prophetic meeting in at Kwabenya, a suburb of Accra.

The three-day meeting brought together over 5,000 faithfuls of the church from branches across the country. It was under the theme “Faithful prayer changes destiny".

The event which used to be held at Kwahu Praso, near Nkawkaw, in the Eastern Region, was shifted to Kwabenya after the church acquired its own land there.

About 150 believers were baptized into the church during the meeting, presided over by Apostle Prophet John Owusu Achiaw, the leader.

In a sermon, Apostle Owusu Achiaw extorted Ghanaians to use the word of God and the power of prayer to change their lives.

“If we can achieve our aims and objectives, the word of God must be our food and drink, he said, stressing that coupled with prayers and love for one another, there was no doubt that one cannot live a life of fulfillment.

“The word of God must be your daily guide, you must thirst for it" he emphasized.

Apostle Owusu Achiaw said showering love on one another and showing sympathy and brotherliness to neighbours, the weak and the vulnerable have proved to be a source of blessing.

“We must show love to whoever comes our way. By this, God also extends his mercies to you and bless you", he said.

The leader advised Ghanaians to pursue their various vocations with truth and diligence devoid of lies, rancor and bitterness in order to gain favour before the Lord.
