The Pure Religion

In the book of James chapter 1 verse 27 the Apostle James discusses what Pure Religion is. He wrote that "Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world."

James message echoes what the Lord Jesus Christ said in the gospel of Luke 10:30-37 in which He taught about the Good Samaritan who helped an unknown person. We must endeavour to do good to all people for God takes delight in it. Help the poor, the elderly, the needy, widows, orphans, homeless and those in hospitals, prisons and in places where they are despised by the rich.
